I worked quite well on the watercolour but got interrupted with the curating of the Exhibition for Grandmasters of Fine Art.
After working on the leaves, still discovering the wonderful greens of Rembrandt watercolours! (Yes it is me saying that! Me who had never wanted to use Green colours from any range of watercolour paints!) I. decided I wanted to lay the background so I could find out the values on the final layers of colours. My problem was, being a large watercolour, the background was going to be large too. I could not possibly interrupted while washing it. Phone calls, door bell ringing was out of question. Easter has come in our house as a bit of a disaster. My hubby has been unwell and slept a lot. It also ment the family could not come!!! So one afternoon, I decided to go for it. So now it is the background ALMOST done. I am not totally happy with the top right corner. I will come back on it. So More to come....
